Hi
Today I want to show you a Christmas card I've made using Magnolia's Tilda with a Large Christmas Gift stamp. I really went to town with this card, and enjoyed every minute of it LOL!!!!
I did some distressing to give the card a bit of a vintage feel. I also added some glitter to my roses for an added bit of winter sparkle!!!
I coloured Tilda with my Copic Markers and used some Iridescent Stickles Glitter Glue to make it look like she is walking through frosty snow. Here's a close up.
I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
I Did It Creations - Surprise Me
Totally Gorjuss - Sparkle
A Spoon Full of Sugar - Lets Get Punchy Papertake Weekly - Sparkly and Bright

So beautiful, love that image, and your colouring is so lovely!
ReplyDeleteNice job on the colouring. You said the doily is from your stash, did you make it or was it purchased? I make my own flowers, but I tend to use ones that are about 1" and most of the ones I've seen for sale are larger. It hadn't occurred to me to use something doily sized, but I could probably crochet that too. I 'm crochetting a circular baby blanket that uses the same elements as part of a more complex pattern, so it shouldn't be hard to figure out. Thanks for the idea!
ReplyDeleteWintry bliss--love the soft colors and winter feel--gorgeous!
