My Last Christmas Decoration of 2011

Hi

I hope you have all had a very good Christmas.

Today I want to show you a Wall Hanging I made to decorate our house this Christmas.   I started with a plain white wooden heart and ended with this lovely decoration that we will treasure for years to come.

The stamp I've used is called Tilda as Lucia, from Magnolia.

I stamped the image using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto Copic Perfect Colouring Paper and coloured it using the following markers:

Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E21, R20
Hair: E50, E31, E55, E57
Dress: B0000, B000, B00, B02, B05
Star: Y38, Y32.
Stick: E13, E18

Here's a close-up of the coloured image

Other Items Used

Papers: From my stash
Sentiment Stamp: Magnolia
Musical Score Stamp: From Whimsy Stamps
Ink: Ranger Distress Ink in Gathered Twigs
Embellishments: Ribbons and Star Pin from my stash.  Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. Stickles Glitter Glue

Here's a close up of the flower embellishments:

I'm entering this ornament into the following challenges:

Paper Cutz Challenge - All Hearts Come Home For Christmas
Allsorts Challenge - Blue and Brown
Anything Goes Challenge - Blue plus one other colour (I chose shades of brown)
