It's Friday again, so time for another challenge over at Stampin' For The Weekend. This week Vicki has come up with a fabulous challenge.
FESTIVE GOODIE BOX
Create, as the name suggests, a christmassy themed box with the added extra of it being distressed....i.e. tattered 'n' torn.
Vicki found this great TUTORIAL over at Split Coast Stampers, but there are plenty of others on that site and on You Tube, or if you already have designs of your own just go with that, as long as it's a box to hold some christmassy treats that's fine!!
Vicki is also sponsoring this week's challenge and has provided this amazing prize.
MME "Just Dreamy" 12 x 12 paper kit
1 bottle of gold Glimmer Mist
Selection of tea roses
WOW !!!
I hopped took a look at this tutorial and used it to create the following box.
The papers are by Dream Street Papers from their Wonderland range, I distressed the edges using some Distress Ink in Worn Paper.
The stamp is by Funstamps and is called Scribble Snowman. I stamped and embossed him and then coloured him using Twinkling H2Os.
I cut two snowflake layers using Spellbinders Create a Flake and used some Twinklets Glass Glitter to give the frosted look, I used the glitter on my poinsettia too.
Well, what are you waiting for? Get on over to Stampin' For The Weekend and check out what the rest of our fabulous team have come up with. Don't forget our Guest Designers who are the very talented Gry-Heidi and Benedicte!!
Have Fun!!
