A Scrapling !!!

Hi - Happy Bank Holiday Monday!!!

Today I have something a little different - it's called a Scrapling and I discovered these over at the Alota Challenge 18 on Paper Craft Planet. Hop on over to PCP and take a look!!

My Scrapling also fits into the Cupcake Challenge this week, which is a recipe - 3 Buttons, 2 Papers and 1 Ribbon.

Here's my Scrapling:

I used Alota Cork Bug Boy Stamp and coloured him with my Copics. Everything else is from my stash - using up odds and ends!!!!

Mini Milk Carton

Hi there !!

Today I've made a carton for the challenge over at Create 4 Fun. Hop on over a take a look, you'll find the template there and the carton is really easy to make.

Here's mine:

I used some pink pearl card to make the body of the carton.

The stamp is by Inkadinkado from the Patterned Pets Clear Stamp Set. I stamped the image onto black card, which I had pre-cut using a square scalloped Nestie, then embossed it using a lilac embossing powder. I used some pink Papermania adhesive gems on the corners. I made two of these panels and placed them on opposite sides of the carton.

The flowers are by Papermania and Prima, plus an odd rose from my stash. I mounted these onto the same black card which I used for my stamping. Again I made two of these and placed them on opposite sides.

I punched two holes in the top of the carton and used two ribbons, one pink and one black, to tie the carton closed.

Fabulous Filey!!!

Well, we had a great day in Filey yesterday. The sun shone, we had a picnic on the beach and some fish & chips for dinner (no Weight Watchers for me next week LOL!!!)

Headed For A Fall !!!

Hello Everyone.

Firstly, I want to apologise for not posting any cards for a week!!!! I seem to have been busy doing nothing lol!!! We've had a few days out with the kids before they go back to school and the rest of the time seems to have just disappeared.

Tomorrow we are going to Filey in Yorkshire for the day, the boys are really looking forward to a day at the seaside so lets hope we have some sun - although we're still going even if it rains!!!

Anyway, I have now managed to make a card. I've followed this week's sketch over at Friday Sketchers.

Here's my card...

I've used an image from Mo's Digital Pencil called "Before the Fall" and coloured it using Prismacolor Pencils blended with Sansodor and paper stumps.
 I printed the papers from my computer and I made the lollipop flowers myself.

Hope you like it!Just before I go, I have a question - Why is it that when I buy a brand new fancy 3 tier scratch post for my cats, "Lazy Cat" Thomas decides that the box is far more interesting to play in?

Bug Buddies!

How Does Your Garden Grow?

Good Morning, and what a beautiful morning it is!

Today I have a card that fits two challenges:

Tuesday Morning Sketchers, who have this great sketch by Melissa Craig

And Copic Buzz, whose challenge this week is sponsored by no other than Mo Manning of Mo's Digital Pencil. The challenge here is to use one of Mo's images to create your card, and she's even got a freebie for you if you need one, so hop over and take a look.

Here's my card:

I decided to use the image supplied by Mo for this challenge, isn't he adorable, his name is Ben. I coloured him using my Copics (of course!!!).

The flower stamps are by Personal Impressions and I just used a section of each one, which I coloured with my Copics again.

I made the sentiment on my computer, and chalked it before mounting it on the red card.

The card & paper are from my stash, as are the ribbons and fancy paper clips.
