Amber Ink Blog Hop

Welcome to our second annual Amber Ink Holiday blog hop.
This year our alumni are tapping in to their inner elves for some fun and frolic.

We've made our list but you'll probably want to check it twice.
Or check it thrice. We just don't know who'll be naughty or nice.

There are 23 commenting spots to be precise
And 23 prizes to help entice.

So see those badges down below?
Roll the dice. Let elf magic flow…

Hop on Monday
Hop on Tuesday
Prizes on Wednesday

One Grand Prize winner will receive an Elf of the Shelf gift set, so be sure to visit every single elfin spot. The final list will be sent to Santa, so remember… the only person you are really competing with is your elf.

I'm so excited to be involved in the annual Amber Ink Holiday Blog Hop.  Amber has designed some fabulous Digi images of The Elf On The Shelf.

Here's what I created with my little elf...

I kept my card nice and simple, colouring my elf with Copic Markers and using papers from my stash.

Here's a close-up:

How would you like to win this digi?   Well, to be in with a chance, all you need to do is leave me a comment on this post before midnight tomorrow (6 December) - Simple!!!  I will randomly draw and announce one lucky winner on 7 December. NOW CLOSED

Mr & Mrs

Hi

I've got a couple of altered jars to show you today.  I've made these for my boys to take to there school Christmas Fayre for the Jar Tombola.  They also make fabulous gifts for friends.

I started with two empty coffee jars.  I found some lovely vellum with sparkle snowflakes in my stash, there was enough to make two wraps to go around the jars.  I used one of the super Snowmen from Magnolia and coloured them with my Copic Markers.  I used some Glamour Dust Glitter to give the snowflake some sparkle.  I then embellished the jars with some matching seambinding and a snowflake charm which I attached with Baker's Twine.  I filled the jars with mint imperials - they look like snowballs!!!

Here's a close up of the snowmen.

Mr Snowman
Mrs Snowman
For the lids I die cut and layered some snowflakes.

I'm entering these jars into the following challenges:

Party Time Tuesdays - "Snow" us what you've got
Lothian Crafts - Christmas
7 Kids College Fund - Non Traditional Christmas Colours
4 Craft Chicks - Snowflakes

Thanks for stopping by today.  Hope you like these jars.

WOYWW

Hi

Time for another WOYWW.  I've actually cheated this week - this was my workspace on Saturday.

I guess you're wondering why Orion is sporting such a gorgeous hat...

Well he has now gotten to "that age" and it was time for "that little operation".  He has been so funny in his hat - he quickly learnt how to use it as a scoop and would scoop up his toys and anything else he fancied!!!  He also loved to spend much of his time having me rub his neck and scratch his ears, which of course I dutifully did!!!

You'll be pleased to know that he has now had his post op check up and his hat has been removed.  He's now back to his troublesome self, making mischief with his two buddies.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by today.
