Saturated Canary YouTube Post

Hi

This week it's my turn again to post on the Saturated Canary YouTube Channel.

For this video I decided to show you how to make a Mini Milk Carton.  You can find my video HERE

I used this template, which you can download for free.
  1. With your mouse on the template image, press the LEFT button on your mouse once.  This should open the template image in a new, bigger window.
  2. Now, with your mouse on the new image, press the RIGHT button on your mouse once. A menu will appear.  Choose the “Save Picture As” option and then choose a location on your computer to store it to.
  3. If you now open the image from your computer, you should be able to print it full-size on an A4 sheet.
HINT:
If you print the image on the back of your card in draft mode (to save ink!) you can then follow the score lines without them showing on the outside of your box.

(If you have any problems downloading this template, please email me and I will send it to you.)

I used one of the new Saturated Canary Stamps called Violet Vintage and coloured her using my Copic Markers.  Here's a close up of the coloured image

Copics Used

Skin - C00, C0, C1, C2
Lips & Cheeks - R20
Eyes - B23
Hair - C2, C4, C5, C7, C9

Midweek Magnolia Challenge - Fancy Fold

Hi

This week our challenge over at Midweek Magnolias is "Fancy Fold".

I decided to make a twisted easel card.  I've never made one before, and was amazed at how simple it was !!!

I used Princess Pea Tilda and coloured her using my Copic Markers.

Here's a close up of Tilda

I die cut her to sit on the bottom of my square with her legs dangling down, and layered this onto a scalloped square cut from Kraft.  I used papers from my stash and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The postcard, ribbons, lace, pin and metal embellishment are all from my stash.

I'm going to enter this card into the following challenges:

Magnolia-Licious and Wee Stamps Challenge - Anything Goes
Top Tip Tuesday Challenge - Spooled Items
Die Cuttin' Divas Challenge - Anything Goes
Magnolia Down Under Challenge - Your Favourite Things - my favourite thing would be flowers.

So now, hop on over to the Midweek Magnolia Challenge Blog and check out what the rest of the Design Team have made - you'll find plenty of inspiration for our challenge.

Red

Hi Everyone

Today, I would like to introduce you to a new member of our family.....

This is Robert Redfurred aka Red

He's my new Maine Coon Kitten.  As I'm sure you already know, we already have one Maine Coon, Orion (as well as Thomas a Bengal and Erin a Savannah!), but as any Maine Coon owner will tell you, one Maine Coon just isn't enough.....

After much persuasion (and it really did take a lot), I managed to convince hubby that we really did need another Maine Coon.  Now, I thought that persuading hubby would be the difficult job, but as it turned out that was the easy bit.  I didn't want any Maine Coon!!!  I wanted a Red Male Maine Coon and finding one proved to be quite difficult.  After much searching I found the right one, and he came home last Friday.

Travelling Home

He has settled in really well.  Thomas, Erin and Orion were a little upset at the new arrival.  However, after just 4 days both Thomas and Orion are happy to play with him and Orion has even been caught grooming Red.  Erin on the other hand is still none too pleased.  I am sure she will be fine, she just needs a little longer to come to terms with having a new baby in the house !!!

As for hubby...

Well, I think he's smitten !!!

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope you like Red.
