Graphic 45 Design Team 2014 Audition

Hi

Did you you know that Graphic 45 currently have a DT Call?   I love Graphic 45 products, especially their papers.  It would be a dream come true to be on their Design Team, so thought I would give it a go.

As part of the selection process you have to create a blog post showing a minimum of six projects.  It was a difficult choice, but I have managed to choose the following eight projects:-

Thinking About You

Hi

Today I've kept myself busy making another project using my Cameo, a fabulous svgcuts.com file and some lush papers by Graphic45.

I love this cute little typewriter, although I'd go into a state of panic if I arrived at work one morning to be faced with a real one lol !!!!

I used green card from my stash and papers from Graphic45 Birdsong 12x12 paper pad.  I was going to add some flowers etc, but quite like the look of is as it is.

The Thinking of You sentiment is from Waltzing Mouse Stamps' Fancy Phrases set.

I did make a slight change to this project.  The letters Q, R, O, P, A, D and B all had a little hole through into the box, but I cut another keyboard panel without the letters on and used this to line the box.  I thought this gave a better finished look to the box.

Here's a view of the back of the typewriter.

I'm going to enter this project into the following challenges

Silhouette Challenges - Any Type of Box
That Crafty Place Challenge - Make or Alter a Box
Dream Valley Challenge - Vintage (I hope a typewriter counts as vintage - it certainly does in my mind lol)
Challenges 4 Everybody - Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by today.

Twit Twoo

Hi

William asked me today if I could make him an owl !!!!  I remembered I had a file from svgcuts.com of an own box, so I put my Cameo to work and here he is...

William is chuffed to bits with him, and I have to say that I think he's rather sweet.   I'm not sure what William is going to do with him, but I'm sure he'll find something secret to hide away inside him.

I used brown card and mixed papers from my stash and some black gems on his eyes.

I'm going to enter this owl into the following challenges:

Crafty Creations Challenge - For the Birds
Silhouette Challenge - Box
That Crafty Place Challenge - Make or Alter a Box

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you like my owl :o)
