Nutshells DT Card

Hi

Today I have my first DT Card for Nutshells

I made this card using the new Digi Download from Nutcrafters called Pink Frosting

Pink Frosting is filled with lots of sweet images including a new Nutshell... Pecan! Available as a digital download from October, in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month, £2 of every download sold will go directly to the charity.

Here's a close-up showing Pecan in more detail.  I printed the image onto Copic Marker paper and coloured it with my Copics.  I then stuck it onto card before cutting out the separate images.

The paper & ribbons are from my stash and the Sweet n' Sassy Sticker is from K&Co.

Thanks for dropping by.  Hope you like it.

SFTW Challenge #19 - DT Card

Morning Everyone.

It Friday, so that means a new Challenge over at Stampin' For The Weekend

This week's challenge is a colour combo of ORANGE, BROWN AND LEAFY GREEN

This week's sponsor is Simon Says Stamp, Heidi is once again offering the winner a $25 shopping spree in the store.

Here's my card:

I've used a lovely cat stamp made by Inkadinkado.  I stamped it onto cream card using Brilliance Ink in Coffee Bean.  I also stamped the sentiment onto cream card using the same ink.  I cut these using Nesties and mounted them onto green card.  I printed the paper from my computer.  The paper, flowers and gems and ribbon are all from my stash.

So, hop on over to Stampin' For The Weekend and take a look at the great cards made by the rest of the Design Team, not forgetting this week's Guest Design Team Members Sue and Jerusha

I look forward to seeing your creations.

DT Call For House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge

Hi

House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge are looking for new members to join their very talented Design Team.

I love these gorgeous critters, so thought I'd give it a go.

Here's what I've made:

For this card I used "Mudpie with Jelly Beans" and coloured him with my Copics. I mounted him using my Nesties. I layered up a few flowers for a simple embellishment and used a sentiment sticker by K&Co.  The paper, ribbon and brad are all from my stash.

Here's a close up of the image:

I couldn't leave it there though - I made another card!!!

This time I've used "Party Preparations", which features the fabulous Pebble - isn't he cute?

Again, I've coloured him with my copics.  The papers, ribbon and brads are all from my stash.

The call is in two rounds, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I make the final!!!

Mini Gift Box

Hello All!!!

Have you seen the fab challenge over at the Stampavie Blog?  You have to make a box using a free template or your own idea and at least one Stampavie image for it.

Well, I got my Technical Department (AKA Hubby) on to the job and he designed me a template - I knew there was a reason for marrying him LOL!!!

Here's my box:

I made the box using a light card stock by CratePaper.
I stamped the Sarah Kay image on to Manga Art Board and coloured her using my Copic Markers.
The ribbon, flowers and pearls are all from my stash.

I've filled the box with some Prima Flowers.

If you would like to make one of these boxes then please feel free to use the Template below.  All I ask is that you credit me and link back to my blog.

Download Instructions
1. With your mouse on the template image, press the LEFT button on your mouse once. This should open the template image in a new, bigger window.

2. Now, with your mouse on the new image, press the RIGHT button on your mouse once. A menu will appear. Choose the “Save Picture As” option and then choose a location on your computer to store it to.

3. If you now open the image from your computer, you should be able to print it full-size on an A4 sheet.

HINT:

If you print the image on the back of your card in draft mode (to save ink!) you can then follow the score lines without them showing on the outside of your box.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Hope you like it.

Off to the Party!!!

Hi

Today I have card for this week's WOJ Challenge, which is a sketch by Rachel.

I was a little naughty and my oval turned into a circle - oops!!!!

I used WOJ Celebrating Donkey and coloured him with my Copics.

The papers are by MME from the Wild Asparagus 6 x 6 stack.  The roses, which are burgundy (not black as they look on the photo!!), blue & white are from my stash and I printed the sentiment on my computer.

I even decorated the inside of my card this time - what do you think?

Thanks for stopping by today.  Hope you like it.
