Another Christmas Card!!!!

 Hi

Well, it's December tomorrow, Christmas is not far away and I've done no shopping - do you think I need to panic ?!!!

I have found the time to make another Christmas card though:

It fits into the following six challenges:

Cupcake Craft Challenges - Red & Green
Stamp With Fun - Xmas
Saturday Spotlight with Hidden Potential - Hats On
The Pink Elephant - Favourite Colouring Medium
The Corrosive Challenge Blog - Red & Green
Magnolia Down Under Challenge - Christmas Decoration / card

I used this beautiful Magnolia stamp, which I bought when I visited the NEC a few weeks back.  I stamped her using black Memento Ink and coloured her using my Copics, which are my most favourite colouring medium by far!!!  I then used some Distress Ink to soften the harsh white background slightly.

Recipe:

Stamp: Magnolia Tilda with Gift
Ink: Black Memento Ink Pad.  "Old Paper" Ranger Distress Ink
Colouring Medium: Copic Ciao & Sketch Markers
Papers: Red Gingham Paper - Cuddly Buddly.  Parcel Paper - Magnolia.  Tree Paper - Basic Grey.  Red & green card from my stash
Tools: Large circle & large scalloped circle Nesties.  Ellison Big Shot
Embellishments: Poinsettias from The Hobby House.  Red ribbons from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Hope you like it.

Mr Snowman

Hi

This simple Christmas Card fits three challenges :

Creative Card Crew - Favourite Things
Everybody Art Challenge - Christmas
Papertake Weekly - Christmas Crackers

Here's my card:

I've used this fabulous snowman, stamping him with Brilliance Ink in Meditteranean Blue and just using a little water to soften the lines in places.  I then ran this through my Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder.

The snowflake is cut using Spellbinders Create a Flake  - this is my favourite die at the moment and I love using Twinklets Glass Glitter on it to give it a real frosty feel.
The spotty paper is by Bo Bunny.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Best Birthday Wishes

Hi

Here's a card that I've made for my MILs Birthday - it also fits into three of this weeks' challenges:

Simon Says - Animal Antics
Gingersnap Creations - Monochromatic
and
Stamp Something - A Sketch Challenge

Here's my card...

I used this super House Mouse Stamp "Birthday Cupcake" which I stamped using Mediterranean Blue Brilliance Ink and water brushed it slightly to soften the lines.

The flower in the bottom left corner is a Camelot Rose by Prima - isn't it beautiful, I love these. The other roses are from my stash.

I turned the sketch and made this as an Easel Card, I love these cards (as you've probably noticed LOL!!).  I've put my sentiment on the base of the card and framed it using an adhesive chipboard frame from K&Cos Blue Awning range.  The papers are also by K&Co from the same range.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by.
Hope you like it.

Butterfly Fairy

Hi

Over at Paper Craft Planet Michelle Perkett's Studio has a great challenge...

Challenge #4 - Your Creative Goddessness :)

... to make a card or project that really portrays who YOU are as a Creative Goddess... are you buttons and bling? or flowers and filly? or clean and simple? Use one of Michelle's images that closest represents you as a Creative Goddess.

I've used The Butterfly Fairy and embellished my card with flowers, ribbons, pearls and butterflies!!!

I coloured the fairy with my Copic Markers and used a Sakura Clear Glitter Pen for her wings.
I distressed the edge with Tim Holtz Distress Inks.

I cut the butterflies using my Silhouette.
The flowers, pearls and ribbon are from my stash.

Michelle asked us to give a reason for our choice of "Inner Goddess Image".  I chose the Butterfly Fairy because...

...As I grow older I watch my family grow with me. The life changing experiences of marriage and childbirth correspond with the major transformation that the butterfly undergoes as it emerges from its chrysalis. We emerge with a new found strength and freedom to explore, whilst still maintaining a very delicate and fragile existence. Day to day our emotions rise and fall, as the butterfly rises and falls on the breezes that carry it through life.

This card also fits in with the challenge over at Cupcake Craft Challenges which is to use a Digital image.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Hope you like it.

A Christmas Angel

There is a new release of Digi Stamps over at Nutcrafters.  They are the Nutshells Christmas Angels and they are so pretty.

Here's a card I made using one of the super cute images:

Front view...

I coloured the image using my Copic Markers and Sakura Glitter and Metallic Pens.

The papers are from my computer.
The snowflakes are cut using my Silhouette.  I then made them sparkle using Twinklets Glass Glitter.

The flower, ribbon, gem, brads and snowflake buttons are all from my stash.

This card fits in perfectly for the challenge over at Papertake Weekly, which this week is Digi Sparkles.

Don't forget the challenge over at the Nutshells Blog too, there's still plenty of time to enter and they have a fabulous prize on offer of two Nutshells Stamps.  So what are you waiting for, head off to Nutshells today and take a look !!!!

Thanks for stopping by today.
