WOYWW 30.06

Wednesday again already time for WOYWW!!!!

Not a lot's happening here really.

I've got a card I'm working on using an image from Spesch Designer Stamps.  I still need to finish colouring it before I put it all together.  Also, can you see what came in the post for me today?  Yeah it's a WOYWW Easel courtesy of our super leader Julia.  Thanks for sending this Julia, I love it.

So, what have the Kitty Cats been up to? Well, there's nothing of Pablo this week -  he is really struggling in this hot weather, so I thought best to leave him alone.  As for Thomas, he got hold of an old envelope and had a great time .....

"Oooh what's this?  Mmmm a nice brown envelope"

"Hey I can rip bits of, I wonder if it tastes nice?"

"Urrgh - that's nasty, and it's sticking to my tongue !!!!"

He He He - do you think that will teach him not to steal?  No way - if it ain't glued down he'll 'ave it  !!!

Anyway, I'm off to have a spy at all the other WOYWWers desks now, if you stop by Julia's place you'll find a handy Mr Linky list if you fancy spying too.  Thanks for stopping by today.

She's not a Bengal Cat !!!!

Hi

Today I want to show you this card I've made using a Digi Image from Spesch Designer Stamps.  This image is called Cheshire Cat, isn't she great ?!!

I coloured the image using my new Promarkers.  I managed to get quite a few half price at Hobbycraft, but there are some more to get that I think will help when it comes to shading etc.
I've also used some Orange Copic Spica Glitter Pen in her hair to give it some sparkle, unfortunately this doesn't show very well in my photo, but it is there honest!!!!
Go give a little dimension to this card I used some 3D Foam for my matting and layering.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:

Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge: Let's Go Digital
Oh Alice: Twinkle Twinkle
Corrosive Challenge: Flowers
The ABC Challenge: X is for Xtra Dimension

Charisma Cardz GDT - One for the Boys

Hi

Well, it's my last week as a GDT Member over at Charisma Cardz  :-(
I'd like to thank Carlyann and the rest of the Team for having me, I've had a great time :-)

This week's theme is "One for the Boys" and we were given his great Digi Image from the Digi Stamp Boutique to work with.

Here's my card:

I coloured this one with a mixture of Copics and Promarkers.  I used Copics for the character's face and Promarkers for the all the rest.  I'm new to Promarkers, I got these at the weekend from Hobbycraft as they were selling them half price.  Now I can never resist a bargain and needless to say I now have loads of Promarkers, I just need to practise with them at bit.  I also used some chalk for the background detail.

The card, paper, ribbon and clips are all from my stash.

So, hop on over to Charisma Cardz and take a look at the work of the talented Design Team and join in with this week's challenge.  Also whilst you're there check out the amazing challenge they have on at the moment to celebrate Carlyann's Wedding - this is one you really won't want to miss !!!

Thanks for stopping by today.  Hope you like it.

WOYWW 23.06

Hi There WOYWWers

I'm a little late today with my desk and I'm afraid to say that all I can offer you is a pile of stuff !!!!!

This week my desk has become something of a place to dump things!!! I need to sort it out and put things away.  In the meantime, I am crafting on my knee in front of the TV - you'll be pleased to know that I am NOT watching the football though and from what I hear I'm not missing much either !!!!

Here's a couple of photos of Thomas to keep you contended through the week.   I have to say that this sunny spell is a little too much for my two, they usually like to sit on a sunny window sill and watch the world go by, but it is a little too hot even for them!!!  Pablo has taken to camping out on the bathroom floor, or in the bath.  I think he finds it cooler there.

Thomas stole a clothes peg today !!!!

Anyway, time for me to hop and have a nose around, don't forget to stop by and say hello to the other WOYWWers, you can find a Linky List over at Julia's place.

WOYWW 16.06 And An Announcement !!!!

Hi Everyone

Well, I haven't posted for a few days.  Things have been quite chaotic here.  Edward was ill last Friday and then I was ill Sunday night / Monday.  Since then, I have been getting my boys ready for school camp.  They left this morning and come back on Friday afternoon.  They were both really excited and have been a bit of a handful over the past couple of days, but of course now I get a couple of evenings with no kids, which is great - I can get in a bit of uninterupted crafting !!!!

Anyway, it's that time of the week again.  So, WOYWWers I guess you want to see my desk.

Here it is :

So, what do we have here?  Well, I've got a image that I've coloured for this week's challenge over at House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge.  I just have to make it into a card,  I've got my papers and found some lovely brads to match too.

Now, I know you all want to know what the announcement is.  Well, I've been chosen to be a Guest Designer for July & August over at Spesch Designer Stamps how great is that?

They have a fabulous range of Digi Stamps with new releases each month - you can check out there store HERE

When I was packing the boys cases for camp, Thomas decided to get in on the act, he made himself very comfy in the top of Edward's case - Do you think he wanted to go to camp too?

Pablo on the other hand was content just to sit and watch - I think he was just making sure that everything got packed and that the boys actually did go on camp,  He will welcome the peace and quiet LOL!!!   I must say, he does look very grumpy.  He is a lovely cat, very affectionate and happy (I think), but he just has this unfortunate grumpy expression !!!

Anyway, thanks for stopping by today, if you want to have a nosey then hop on over the Julias blog, feel free to join in, the more the merrier!!!

Happy Tilda !!!

Hi

I've had to have a day off work today as Edward is sick.  Not good for him of course, but I have been able to do a bit of extra crafting while he was asleep in the bed this morning!!!

Here's what I made:

A lovely little box using my Spellbinders Nesties Labels 8.

It is the perfect size for a few choccies and would make a great little "Thank You" gift.

I've used Happy Tilda from Magnolia and coloured her with my Copic Markers.  I used a little Stickles Glitter Glue on her frilly bits.

To make the matching heart border I used my Martha Stewart Valentine Lace Heart Border Punch on white paper and then coloured it using Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Tumbled Glass.  I also used this to lightly ink around the image.

I made the two tags using stamps from the Stampin' Up Tiny Tags Stamp Set and punched them using the Stampin' Up Jewellery Tag Punch.

I'm entering this box into the following five challenges:

Hanna & Friends - Spellbinders Box
Quirky Crafts - Girly Girly
A Spoonful of Sugar - Floral Delights
Creative Card Crew - Thank You
Sir Stampalot - Punch It

WOYWW 09.06

Hi WOYWWers - Wednesday again !!!

Here's my desk today

I've been busy mass producing !!!!  I've made all these paperclip bookmarks for William to take to school for his friends on his Birthday.  The school has a "Healthy Eating Policy" so he cannot take in cakes or chocolate treats for his class mates.  I thought a bookmark would be a nice little gift instead. His birthday isn't until the middle of July, but these things have a habit of creeping up on me.  I decided to make them now and be prepared!!!

I've also coloured some Popcorn images ready for making Thank You Cards for the boy's teachers.  These don't need to be ready until the middle of July either, but I guess I'm in a "getting prepared" mood!!!

For you kitty addicts here's some piccies:

Thomas showing off his spotty tummy.

William with Thomas.
They have one of those relationships where William can do whatever he wants to Thomas and Thomas just lets him !!!

This is an old picture of Pablo,  he wasn't in the mood for the Paparazzi today LOL!!!

Anyway, thanks for stopping by.  I'm off to see what you're all up to today.
