"Handbag" Box + Free Template
Hi Everyone
Hope you're all having a fab weekend.
Today, I've finished the gift box I've been working on. I've called it a "Handbag" Box - can you guess why ?!!
I've kept it very simple, just adding some ribbon for the handle and a fancy brad on the front to represent a clasp. Of course, you could add an image or some flowers if you wanted to go to town a bit!!!
I used some Self Adhesive Velcro Fasteners to keep it closed.
It is perfect for a little gift, or to carry confetti at a wedding, or for party favours...the list is endless!!!
I've filled mine with some yummy chocolates!!!
Hubby did a fantastic job making the template for me. If you like it then please take the template and make one too, all I ask is that you credit Lazy Cats Cards with the design and link back to my blog. Don't forget to let me know if you use it, so that I can hop over and see your creations!!!
Left click to enlarge the image and then right click to save it to your computer. The template can then be printed onto the reverse of an A4 sheet of card. I usually print mine in draft mode to save ink!!!
It is quite straight forward to assemble, but if you would like instructions then please email me via the link in my sidebar.
I'm going to enter this into the challenge over at Just Us Girls Challenge, which this week is to use a template.
Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you like it.

WOYWW
Hi Everyone
Well it's Wednesday again and that means it's WOYWW time!!!
Here's mine...
I've got a couple of things on the go. An empty hot chocolate container that I want to alter - not sure when I'll get around to this, but if it's there staring at me then I may get around to doing something with it. I want to decorate it and then put it on my desk at work for my pens.
Also, you see the little box sitting on my Scor-Pal. This is a little project I've got my hubby working on. He's off work at the moment recovering from a knee op, so I've put him to work template designing. And a good job he's doing too. The one you can see is a prototype !!!! Once I've made the final box, I'll post it along with the template and assembly instructions - hopefully by the weekend, so don't forget to pop back.
Anyway, I'm off now to nosy at what the rest of the WOYWWers are up to.
Take care.

WOYWW
Hi
I'm a bit late posting for WOYWW. We've been busy today - shopping for the kids before they go back to school next week - I did manage to take a detour to a craft shop too, I picked up a Metric Scor-Pal and a Martha Stewart Arch Lattice Punch (can't wait to start playing with these!!!).
Anyway, here's how my workdesk looked today.
I'm in the process of trying a new technique - cracked glass, there's a fab tutorial over at ABC Challenge Tutorial Blog. I'm not sure how it will turn out, so watch this space!!! I'm back at work tomorrow having had the beginning of the week off with the kids, so I probably won't get time to complete this project until the weekend.
After tidying up a little later, Pablo decided to try out my Tidy Tray for size. I think it's a little small for him, but he seemed to like it LOL!!!
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great evening.
