Back To School
Hi
It's been a while since any of my House Mouse Stamps have seen any ink, but today I found some time to get some ink on one! Edward, my eldest son, starts comprehensive school next week, so I made a Back to School card for him.
I used this cute stamp is called Class Clown. He's such a cutie and one of the favourites in my House Mouse Collection.
I coloured him with my Copic Markers. Here's a close-up:
I'm going to enter this card into the following challenges:
Paper Crafting Journey- Anything Goes
Crafting Belli- Back to School
Papercraft Star - Back to School
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Ribbon Carousel - Back to School
House Mouse & Friends - Back to School
I've also made this little backpack for him. I found to template and instructions HERE on Splitcoast Stampers I'm going to pop in a few treats for him.

"What's Cooking?" at Midweek Magnolias!
Hi Everyone
Our theme this week at Midweek Magnolia's is "What's Cooking?"
I used three Magnolia Stamps to create my card -
Chef Tilda, Pasta Edwin and Dot Jumbo Muffin
Here's my card:
With the use of some low tack tape and clever positioning, I managed to remove all traces of pasta from Pasta Edwin!!!. I coloured my image using Copic Markers, here's a close-up:
I used some papers from my stash for this card, and I thought that Cheery Lynn's Mega Doily fitted perfectly with the food theme. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon is from my stash.
I'm going to enter this card into the following challenges:
Cheery Lynn Designs - Anything Goes
Dutch Magnolia's Challenge - Bingo (I used the line Tilda en Edwin - Bloemen - Lint / Kant)
Challenges 4 Everyone - Anything Goes
Just Magnolia & hAngler sTangler - Show me a heart (there is a tiny heart on the tag below the flowers!)
So, hop on over to the Midweek Magnolia's Blog and check out what the rest of our talented Design Team have created. I'm sure you'll find plenty of inspiration for our challenge!!!
Thanks for stopping by today.

Elisabeth Bells World Challenge
Hi
It's time for another challenge over at Elisabeth Bells World.
This month our challenge is to make a Christmas Card without using a Christmas image, remember though that you must use an Elisabeth Bell image.
This month we are sponsered by Crafts and Me - the winner will receive £10 to spend on any Elisabeth Bell stamps in their shop. Plus, as always, the winner will also get their choice of 2 images from the Elisabeth Bell Gallery
Anyway, back to my card, I chose to use Melinda Blowing Kisses.
I coloured Melinda using my Copic Markers, here's a close-up
I found some Christmas papers in my stash. The die cut is Heart Snowflake by Marianne Designs, which I think goes perfectly with Melinda. I also added a bit of "Christmas Magic" by filling a Tim Holtz Tiny Vial with some Gold Glamour Dust, sealing the cork with gold wax and attaching it with a big bow. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the silver balls are salvaged from last year's Christmas Crackers!
I'm going to enter this card into the following challenges
Challenge Up Your Life - Christmas in Summer
C.RA.F.T. Challenge - Fairies
In the Pink - Things with Wings
Belli Challenge - Winged Things
Thanks for stopping by today.

My Memories Giveaway
I don't know about you, but one of the biggest problems that I have these days is my digital camera! It is so easy to use that I take pictures of anything and everything. During a recent family day out to the Warner Bros. Harry Potter Experience at Leavesden Studios the four of us managed to take almost 800 photos between us !!! The pictures don't take up any storage space and they're free to view (no expensive processing costs).
However, there is no way that I have got the time or the funds to get all of these images printed out. Even if I did, isolated photos can be boring to others and require you to explain what each of them is about. A good digital scrapbooking software package is the only way to do this properly and should be part of everybody's creative tool box.
So imagine how thrilled I was when the people at My Memories invited me to review My Memories Suite, a Digital Scrapbooking software suite that is so easy to use that anybody can create stunning digital scrapbook layouts in minutes. Look what Simon managed in less time than it takes for me to find buttons in my stash !!!
Edward and William meet Mandeville |
The software gives you the ability to create layouts and pages from scratch using a huge assortment of easy-to-use tools. But there is much more than this available...
My Memories Suite comes pre-installed with a large variety of designer templates - all that you have to do is insert your digital photos. You can also add text, embellishments and even extra pages to build up a complete digital scrapbook of memories that can be shared with others.
And there is no need to stop there. If you want to keep adding to your scrapbook at a later date, this is possible. Just add extra pages and continue along memory lane for as long as you like. The following pages show a starting point for a scrapbook for Orion - I am certain that I will find more pictures as time goes on and I will expand on this simple beginning.
