Graph'It Marker Challenge

Hi Everyone 

It's time for a new challenge over at Graph'It Markers.  Our theme for the next fortnight is Monochrome (you can added skin colour if you wish) 

I used a free image from Jade Dragonne called Nude Model


I coloured this image using the following Graph'It Markers

Graph'It Marker Inspiration

Hi Everyone 

I have some inspiration for the Graph-It Marker Challenge today. 
Our challegne is Ice / Water 

I chose a lovely image from Aurora Wings called Icy Snow Queen

I also added some Liquid Pearls and Glamour Dust

The image is so pretty that I decided to keep this card clean and simple and just added a ribbon and a diamante button.

Graph'It Marker Challenge - Create a Background Effect

Hi Everyone 

Time for another challenge over at Graph-It Markers.  Our theme this time is to create a background effect. 

Here's my card 


The image I used is a Ballerina by Morgan Fitzsimons at MorgansFaeWorld on Etsy.

Skin - 4170, 4125, 7120
Hair - 9404, 0000
Dress - 1180, 1110, 1250
Ballet Slippers - 4135, 5140
Background - 8240, 7220, 1170 with Mix'It Fluid

Background Photo Tutorial 

You will need 
Graph'It Markers (three colours makes a good mix)
Mix It Spray
Tim Holtz Ink Applicator and Felt 
Photo Paper - Glossy or Satin finish (I used Satin finish)



1. Using the chisel tip of your marker, dab ink randomly onto the felt



2. Take your second colour and dab the felt

3. Take your third colour and continuing dabbing



4. Make sure you fill all the gaps with ink

5. Liberally spray the inked felt with Mix'It Spray



6. Dab all over your paper with the ink filled applicator


7. Continue dabbing until you have the desired coverage.  The more you dab, the more mixed the finish background will be

Peggy

Hi Everyone

Just a quick post to share an altered giant peg.


My peg started out life like this


Firstly I took the peg apart and painted it with Ranger Distress Crackle Paint.  Once this was dry a put the peg back together and decorated it using bits and bobs from my stash.

I used an image from The Stamping Chef called Jenna . Here's a close-up:

Teddy Bo DT Call

Hi Everyone

Did you know there's a DT Call over at Teddy Bo?
I love these cute little bears, so thought I would give it a go.

I used a lovely Teddy Bea image from the new release and made this card.


I coloured Teddy Bea using my Graph'It Markers.  Here's a close-up



Graph'It Markers used:

Bear - 9401, 9402, 9403, 9405 - I coloured the bear and then sprayed some Mix'It Fluid onto a face cloth and dabbed it onto the coloured areas to create a fur effect.
Cheeks - 5115

Wings - 7210, 7105, Silver Shake'It Glitter
Star - Gold Shake'It Glitter


I used card from my stash and papers from October Afternoon and Bo Bunny.  The button, twine, flowers and pearls are all from my stash.

Graph'It Markers Challenge

Hi Everyone 

It's time for a new challenge over at Graph'It Markers, our theme this time is Light Source. 

I decided to have my light source coming directly from the front.  
Here's my card

Jeans - 7105, 7110, 7115, 7119.  
I coloured the jeans first.  Then sprayed some Mix'It Fluid onto a scrap of denim and dabbed it firmly onto the image to create a textured look.
I then coloured the rest of the image
Skin - 4120, 4125, 4155, 4170, 4135 cheeks & lips 
Hair - 2105, 2110, 2130
Blouse - 8110, 8120, 9201
Scarf - 5115, 5120


I used papers and card from my stash and embellished the card using, flowers, flourish, lace, button, twine, tickets, a glass bead, small bell and key, a vintage stamp, film roll and a peg.
