A Boy's Best Friend

Today I want to show you this card I've made for William's friend, whose Birthday is this weekend.

I used this super Stampavie stamp called Bobby and Me which is designed by Penny Johnson.  I got it from Bunny Zoe's Crafts, you can find it HERE.    The cute little paw button is from Hobbycraft, it is a metal button and had a shank on the back, which "super hubby" cut off for me.

I coloured it with my Copic Markers, as usual.

Today I would like to show you this card, which I made using one of the new stamps from In2Stamps.  This stamp is called Littlebell in Flowerpot.  Don't you think she looks cute sitting in the flowerpot with her caterpillar friend?

WOYWW - 7 April

Wednesday again !!!

Here's my desk ....

Hubby's made another template for me, so I am in the process of making this up.  You can see the prototype there.   I've also got some stamps to mount - I really don't enjoy this job, but I guess it has to be done !!! 

I bet you're all wondering whether Hubby labelled my CD cases for me.   He says, and I quote, "Of course I did, because I'm wonderful and fabulous" - Oh dear, I seem to have created a monster LOL!!!

I've used my Copic Markers to colour Tilda with Flowing Hair and added some Lavender Flower Soft to the flowers in her basket.

In2Stamps April Challenge

Well, April is here and that means another challenge over at In2Stamps.  This month the challenge is to make a Spring themed card or gift idea using an In2Stamps stamp.

Here's my card.

I used the "Elmit in Tomato Can" stamp.  This stamp made me think of April Showers, which is a sure sign of Spring here in the UK !!!

I coloured the image using my Copic Markers.  I used some Ranger Glossy Accents on the raindrops, but the camera hasn't picked this up very well. 

As always, In2Stamps is offering a fantastic prize to the lucky winner of this month's challenge.

Nutcrafters DT Call

Nutcrafters are having a DT Call, they are looking for a full-time DT Member and a couple of GDT Members too, so I've decided to give it a try.   They have provided a great free Digi image to use for the submission.

I coloured the image using Copic Markers.

The paper is from my stash and as it is big and bold I decided to keep the embellishments to a minimum.

Pretty Drawers

Today I've finished the little drawer unit project I have been working on. 

Here it is

I followed this Scor-Pal Tutorial.  I adapted it slightly to incorporate 8 drawers instead of 4.

I used the Spring Blossoms stamp from Sarah Kay, coloured it using my Copic Markers and distressed around the edge using my Tim Holtz Edge Distresser and some Distress Ink in Shabby Shutters. 

The ticket is a Tim Holtz Adage Ticket. I've been after these for ages but everywhere has been sold out, I managed to find some eventually though - hurray!!!

The lace I've used was originally white but this didn't look good with the distressed / vintage look I was after so I coloured it using the Distress Ink, which made it match perfectly.

I'm going to use it for storing all my flat backed pearls and gems - perfect!!
